If you live in the Northeast USA like us, you know what's coming tomorrow....lot's more little flakes of frozen loveliness! About 5 inches to be exact.

BUT...
My little girl is not much for cold weather {like her California weather lovin' Mum}...so we will have a tea party. INSIDE. But our little pinkies out.

It's Time

Happy New Year!


I hope that 2011 is a year of new opportunities, growth and happiness for all of us. 


I do love the idea that every year you can hit the "reset button". 

Last night, after our daughter was in bed, Nick and I reflected on 2010.

And we realized that it was both exhilarating & challenging

 A year of 

triumphs & stumbles 

But also full of...

self discovery,

fulfillment,

learning & adventure

It was so amazing with what we were able to accomplish and experience. Especially from the people who came into our lives. 

And I realized that it would not have been so divided between LOVE and LOSS if I had not put myself out there to try and fail and/or succeed. So I pat myself on the back and also slap my wrist. 

AND...I feel optimistic {as ALWAYS} about what this new year might bring! And ready to meet it with open arms!
